The Denon AVC-X6500H is equipped with Wifi and Bluetooth, it can be connected via LAN cable or wirelessly via WLAN over the well-known 2.4 GHz and now also over the particularly powerful 5 GHz network. Listening to music from your smartphone and tablet directly on the AVR is also possible via Bluetooth. The AVC-X6500H supports AirPlay, which allows you to stream your music library from an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or iTunes. Of course, it also plays music from Android smartphones, computers or music servers. As an alternative to the supplied remote control, the free HEOS app allows you to conveniently operate your receiver. The housing, chassis and front panel of the AVC-X6500H is made out of a very tenacious metal.

The connections for the AVC-X6500H contains 8 HDMI inputs, 3 HDMI outputs, 5 analogue RCA connections, including a phono input MM pickup systems, 2 optical and 2 coaxial digital inputs. On the front panel of the 6500H, it has a built-in headphone jack and a USB jack.

Dolby Atmos will allow you to turn your living room into the ultimate cinema experience, giving you the ability to create a 7.1.4 surround sound set-up without external power amplifiers. The AVC-X6500H has 11 channels of built-in amplification.

Bowers and Wilkins MT-60D

The new B&W MT-60D package comprising of 5 new design M-1 speakers in tandem with the stunning PV1D subwoofer with a new digital platform. In comparison with the previous B&W M-1 satellite speaker, the new M1 looks similar but can be used as a full range loudspeaker in a compact stereo system for example. The new M1 has greater body and punch than the previous model, thanks to new drive units designed in-house, integrated into a custom crossover. This also helps the new speaker play louder and with a cleaner sound than before.

The PV1D is quite radically different to the previous PV1 model. Whilst retaining its spherical profile, a new amplifier module of 400W output (a 500W B&O ICE power module was used in the earlier model) is combined with longer throw drivers to give more extension and depth and a much bigger sound than before. It digs incredibly deep, and actually sounds more powerful, despite the apparent reduction in power from 500 to 400W. An iPhone app is now available to control the settings of the PV1D 'on the fly' to get the best sound at the listening position.
