The sound produced by this system is surprisingly big considering the compact nature of the speakers. Ideally suited to smaller rooms or an area where space is at a premium the Ruark MR1 offers an insightful, open sound. The detail is crisp thanks to the 20mm tweeter and the midrange/bass is warm and deep due to the 75mm mid/bass driver, bass is further improved thanks to two small bass ports underneath of the speakers.
