Creek Evolution 100 CD Player, DAC & Pre-Amp

The Evolution 100CD is Creek's high-end CD transport, DAC and preamplifier. Perfect for playing music from your computer, TV or Streamer while also incorporating a high-quality CD transport.

Features -

  • High-resolution 24bit 192kHz DAC
  • 5 digital inputs, including USB
  • Slot loading, high-fidelity CD transport
  • Digital volume control
  • High-performance headphone amplifier

The 100CD features a high-performance pre-amplifier, making it the perfect companion for Creek's 100P Power Amplifier. Providing a powerful yet small system.

With a large array of digital inputs and outputs, the Evolution 100CD is very well equipped. At the rear of the 100CD, you will find two optical TOSLINK inputs, two digital COAX inputs, a Bluetooth input antenna and an asynchronous USB input, all utilising the two Wolfson 24bit 192kHz capable DACs.

Connecting to the 100CD via a PC requires additional (ASIO) driver software to be installed and potentially a USB2 driver if the PC you are using hasn't already got one. A Mac computer running OSX won't need any additional drivers.

Drivers for Windows-based computers can be downloaded via the link below:

A powerful toroidal mains transformer is used in the Evolution 100CD, to reduce any unwanted noise and maintain a steady supply of power. All of these carefully engineered components are housed within a black, pressed steel case with a brushed aluminium fascia, available in black or silver.
