The Opticon series was designed and engineered by DALI to offer a pure and dynamic sound response for both music and home theatre listening applications. Regardless of volume, imaging is pin-point accurate, detail is rich and immersive while a deep and controlled bass ensures the integrity of your listening source. All of the Opticon series make use of DALI's meticulously designed woofer and tweeter modules, in conjunction with their proprietary Soft Magnetic Compound pole piece.

DALI Opticon 6 Floorstanding Loudspeakers 

The Opticon 6 features much of the quality technology and design philosophy as it's smaller counterpart, the Opticon 5. The major improvement is the integration of an additional 6.5-inch woofer for an enhanced level of bass and control. This driver works alongside two other 6.5-inch low-loss wooden fibre drivers, operating with DALI's unique and innovative SMC magnet motor system. These quality woofer units are complemented by a combined soft dome and ribbon tweeter hybrid module for a clear, detailed high-end spanning a vast and accurate soundstage. 

DALI Opticon Vokal Centre Speaker

Completing both our OPTICON line-up and any serious home cinema sound system, the OPTICON VOKAL centre speaker presents the perfect harmony of power and control. Arguably the most important element of cinema surround, the VOKAL is key when it comes to having movie dialogue and detail delivered clearly and crisply without getting lost amongst the effects and incidental music of movie soundtracks.

Also, the component that handles the bulk of the direct front action, choosing an effective centre speaker is essential to the whole home cinema experience. This is why we designed the VOKAL to be a fool-proof hit in any home, both in terms of performance and physicality.

Firstly, armed with our sublime 6½ inch low-loss Wood Fibre Woofer, Hybrid Tweeter module and front-pointing bass port, you can be assured that the action on the screen in front of you is seamlessly soundtracked, with deftly handled detail drawing you deeper in. Perfect with any of the compact speakers in the series, but at the same time powerful enough to match the OPTICON 8.

Secondly, with an eye on practicality, the OPTICON VOKAL has also been designed to fit most makes of Hi-Fi furniture due to the front-facing bass ports, meaning it can be neatly stowed away – a plus point for aesthetically minded homeowners and home cinema custom installers alike. But it will work just as well out in the open.

Legacy
The OPTICON VOKAL features the same low-loss Wood Fibre Woofer found in our flagship EPICON series, alongside our unique SMC (Soft Magnetic Compound) magnet motor system and a reworked version of our Hybrid Tweeter module also found in the RUBICON, all of which works together along with an individual bass reflex port for the woofer to produce audio exactly as the recording artist originally envisioned it.

Dali Opticon 2 Loudspeakers

The Opticon 2 is designed for small to medium-sized rooms, thanks to its concept dimensions. A 165mm diameter DALI bass/midrange driver is married to a 28mm soft dome tweeter. The SMC (soft magnetic compound) magnet material gives a very powerful and controlled bass response, whilst vocals are clear and believable. Low distortion is assured by a carefully designed crossover and optimal cabinet dimensions. A rear mounted reflex port and a single pair of gold-plated banana sockets are provided.

DALI SUB K-14 F Subwoofer

DALI subwoofers are designed and engineered to compliment their vast catalogue of quality loudspeaker models, comprising of quality componentry and fine materials assembled in such a way that a deep and controlled bass is possible every time. The DALI subs will merge with any existing stereo main loudspeaker system, thanks to carefully chosen integrated crossover roll-off, ultra-low time shift and acoustic cabinet design.

The SUB K-14 F is an outstanding subwoofer, designed and engineered to perform equally well in both two-channel music listening environments and an immersive home theatre applications. Comprising of a large 14" aluminium, long-stroke woofer, powered with precision by an integrated 500-watt class D amplifier, the K-14 is capable of filling a room with an exemplary layer of depth and realism.  The SUB K14F can be connected to your amplifier via an LFE connection or a standard line out. 

Who is DALI?

DALI is an acronym of 'Danish Audiophile Loudspeaker Industries'. As the name suggests, DALI is a Danish company that specialises in designing, engineering and manufacturing high-end and intermediate level audiophile speaker units. The company was founded in 1983 by a man named Peter Lyngdorf and has since expanded from the confines of Denmark, and can now be found sold all over the world as a well-sought after a brand of speakers.
