Denon DL-103R MC Cartridge 

If you like the sound of the detailed, airy moving coil, the refinements brought to the Denon DL-103R will really bring a smile to your face – basically you get more of the same creamy organic sound, but with better high-frequency tracking and smoothness, and a harder-hitting low-frequency register, but with a similar uncoloured midrange.

Special 6N copper moving coils are expertly hand-wound onto the conical aluminium cantilever shaft bringing much greater detail and finesse to the sound quality. A real thoroughbred moving coil cartridge, for music lovers.

We have had great results with the DL-103R cartridge on our Rega Planar 3 recently as part of a customer demonstration. Comparing it against a number of other moving coil cartridges we found the Denon offered a level of detail and depth of sound few could match. Incredibly easy to listen to and will have you listening to your favourite albums again and again to find new details you may have missed in the past.
