The Hana EH is a high output moving coil cartridge, designed to offer a true and accurate musical representation of the vinyl groove it tracks. Equipped with a high rigidity aluminium cantilever, armed with a quality Elliptical diamond stylus and configured with the cross-shaped armature. This allows for true clarity and transparency, with the added benefit of supreme trackability. The body of the cartridge itself is a composite plastic material, dark green in colour, that's been used by Hana specifically for its anti-resonant capabilities.
The Hana EH, despite being relatively new to the UK market, has already picked up a number of prestigious accolades amongst the hifi press, including 5 globes from HifiWorld in February 2016, a score of 9/10 from The Audiophile Man in April 2016 and five stars from HiFi Choice in May 2016, along with the award for Group Test Winner.
Who is Hana?
'Hana' is a Japanese manufacturer of quality high output and low output moving coil cartridges, employing innovative technological measures and impeccable craftsmanship to form a unique and dynamic listening experience when combined with a turntable of equal calibre. The Hana brand was developed in 2015 by established Tokyo-based 'Excel Sound Corporation' who have over half a century's worth of hifi cartridge manufacture experience.
Hana (華) is Japanese for 'brilliant and gorgeous', a mantra they adapt to every element of their cartridge construction.
