The new Marantz SR6013 offers nine channels of power amplification and also a 11.2 channel processing and pre-outs. The SR6013 AV Reciver supports multi-dimensional audio formats such as Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and DTS Virtual:X, the Marantz SR6013 also delivers superb musical playback from multiple sources including their very simplisitic yet effective HEOS. The 9.2 channels of amplification come in at an impressive 110 W per channel (8 ohms) with 8 HDMI inputs (including one located on the front of the box) with full HDCP 2.2 support; 3 HDMI outputs. A 4K/60 Hz-rate pass-through, Dolby Vision compatibility, HDR, HLG and BT.2020. Another neat feature of the SR1603 is that it comes with eARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel) meaning it supports the transmission of 3D audio from yout TV apps with a single HDMI connection. Who is Marantz?

Marantz is one of the world's most famous hifi brands and was started in 1948 by New Yorker, Saul Marantz, an amateur musician and audio enthusiast who was dissatisfied with the amplifier products available at that time. He decided to build phono pre-amps which could handle all manner of recording equalisations popular in the day, and his friends persuaded him to build them one too. This quickly took all of Saul's time, as he was overwhelmed with orders - the Marantz company we know today was born.
