Project CD Box DS - Trade In

This ProJect CD Player in excellent condition has been traded in by a local customer. The unit is in full working order and will be provided with a 6-month warranty. No original packaging but will be securely packed for transit.

Project started in the hifi business designing and manufacturing affordable stereo turntables in the early 1990's, beginning with the entry-level Debut model. It was a great success, as all other turntables on the market at that time were at least  £100 more expensive, without offering a performance benefit. Project has gone on to extend the range of turntables they offer at all popular price points and performance levels, through midrange to high-end models.

It's generally well regarded that a dedicated, high-quality CD player with the sole purpose of playing CDs will give a better audio result and performance over a DVD or Blu-Ray disc player. The CD Box DS exists to prove that. The driver utilised by this machine is both durable and of a high-quality standard, as an essential aspect of perfect CD playback. While the Servo system within the CD Box S allows real-time scanning of the audio signal with jitter retained at an impressive minimum.

These high-quality components are then combined with a number of advanced DAC blocks in order to achieve a truly premium sounding result, one of which rivals all in its class and even some more expensive CD player models from other brands and manufacturers. 

Aesthetically, the CD Box DS is designed very much in the same way as all other Box Design DS models with a thicker front panel, no visible screws and a more compact, uniform LED display.
