The impressive Q950 model from KEF is the series's flagship loudspeaker. The 950 features the signature Uni-Q driver midrange/tweeter array that KEF has become world famous for. This intelligent driver design works in unison with a larger 200mm long-throw bass driver, with matching ABR units to provide an engaging and lifelike sound. The Q-950 is able to reproduce music to a stunning level of clarity, detail and stereo imaging while retaining the dynamic musicality and lifelike punch and bass that audiophiles have grown to expect from KEF. The Q950 works incredibly well in a dedicated 2-channel system in larger rooms but is also perfectly suited for use in a seriously impressive powerful home cinema system.

Who are KEF?

KEF is a highly renowned, multi-award winning loudspeaker manufacturer whose high-quality products can be found all over the world. KEF began in Maidstone Kent in 1961 by an electrical engineer, Raymond Cooke. KEF is named after Kent Engineering & Foundry, which occupied the KEF site previously. Raymond Cooke was created OBE by Queen Elizabeth II in 1979. KEF has produced products for the BBC, and have a vast range of products at many different price points.
