Having been trading for almost four decades, Michell is one of the oldest and longest-standing quality turntable manufacturers still around today. The first version of their superlative Gyrodec was built over 25 years ago, but can still be upgraded and serviced to today's version. 

Borrowing heavily from the Gyro SE, the Michell Tecnodec takes the same phosphor bearing, vinyl loaded platter, DC motor and vibration damping feet from it's more expensive brother.

Doing without the skeletal acrylic plinth of the Gyro SE, a simple black plinth holds the inverted bearing and three aluminium legs with soft rubber feet. ideally located on a wall shelf for maximum isolation, the turntable has a beautifully neutral sound balance with exceptionally taut and rhythmic bass, allied to a detailed treble and expressive midrange with an expansive soundstage.
