The 3 way Monitor Audio RX8 is a speaker with formidable performance potential in both hifi and home cinema settings. Though capable of filling the largest rooms with glorious sound, they are not physically obtrusive thanks to the slim baffle and deep cabinet design. A hugely rigid, braced cabinet enables resonances to be minimised, resulting in very transparent sound quality. Twin 130mm RST bass drivers imbue the Monitor Audio RX8 with tremendous bass power and authority. A 130mm bass/ midrange RST driver delivers neutral, clear midrange whilst the 25mm C-CAM gold dome tweeter extends sweet, delicate treble beyond the limit of human hearing. Superb dynamics and wide bandwidth also characterise the sound, making it ideal in a home cinema or high performance stereo system, especially when sited in a larger than average room. Finished in real wood veneers or stunning high gloss lacquer, maybe the only speaker you will ever need.
