The Naim NAC-N 172 XS network preamplifier has been designed using the same Naim principles of low micro-phony case work, shielding from electromagnetic fields, star earthing for minimal ground noise and regulated, stable high current capacity power supplies that has created Naim's long standing reputation for excellence in audio reproduction. The beauty of the NAC N172XS is that it combines the functions of a high quality two channel analogue pre-amplifier with the diversity of music and richness of choice by having a 192kHz 24 bit streamer with high quality Burr Brown PCM1793 DACs and spdif inputs. In this way the NAC N172XS forms the hub of a digital and analogue hi-fi system, being able to handle all sources from turntable, CD player, tuner to games machine, set top box and NAS drive.

Ideally partnering with the Naim NAP155 XS power amp, the NAC-N172XS will control all source selection and volume duties of your audio system whilst bringing the best of digitally streamed music into your home from internet radio, music files stored on your network NAS drive, USB pen drive or Spotify.
