Naim XP5 XS Power Supply

Naim products are designed to bring the closest facsimile of a live music event into your home listening environment, to give you maximum pleasure from your music collection. Many of the Naim products are evolutions of previous designs, incorporating sometimes quite small changes to the mechanical or electronic design - however, these incremental changes make a large overall improvement in the music performance of each product.

Upgrading the power supply is one of the simplest yet effective upgrade paths for any Naim hifi system. Naim power supplies combine low regulated supply voltages, quality transformers, dense and highly robust casings and where applicable Naim's superior Direct Regulator (DR) technology to offer an even more superior performance from your compatible Naim separates. 

The XP5 XS has been designed and engineered to enhance and optimise the performance of Naim's premium quality network player the ND5 XS. Featuring the XS series solid-build aluminium chassis, this high quality power supply is both sonically and visually matched to the ND5 XS, but as with Naim's other range of power supplies the ND5 XS will offer a new level of quality to other Naim hifi components, not just the ND5 XS.

Internally, the XP5 XS makes use of a 250VA transformer with tantalum output capacitors, working alongside low capacitance ceramic heat sinks and large smoothing capacitors. A quality Burndy interconnect is supplies to guarantee a superior signal transfer.
