Project started in the hifi business designing and manufacturing affordable stereo turntables in the early 1990's, beginning with the entry-level Debut model. It was a great success, as all other turntables on the market at that time were at least  £100 more expensive, without offering a performance benefit. Project has gone on to extend the range of turntables they offer at all popular price points and performance levels, through midrange to high-end models.

Further product developments include a range of compact hifi separates, turntable supports, amplifiers, tuners, iPod docks and tonearms.

The A/D Box S2 Phono has been designed as an affordable but yet effective tool for digitally archiving your precious analogue media. With an Analogue-Digital Converter, this will allow you to digitally back-up any vinyl records or analogue tapes. The A/D Box S2 also has a phono input, enabling you to plug in your turntable. MM and MC cartridges are supported. You can switch between inputs on the front panel, this means once a source is connected to the back panel, the input selector on the front panel allows for easy changing between connected devices. The Box has a digital gain level adjuster which is only for the digital data stream. The problem is many computers will struggle with loud audio inputs - therefore the gain adjuster comes into play, giving you the best possible balance between convenience and fidelity. You can record to your computer via USB. With the box designed with the Premium S2 chassis, this means there will be ultra-low noise and distortion; inside of the box has an SMD circuity, which involves short signal lengths to reduce any sort of humming or vibration. The A/D Box S2 Phono comes in Black or Silver.
