The CD Box RS is an astonishing top-loading CD player, found within a compact and attractive cabinet. The CD transport is built around the premium Blue Tiger CD 100 servo system. This intricate and impressive signal processing system has been designed to handle and optimise audio signals of 24-bit/192kHz FLAC playback. The CD Box RS uses a stylish and aesthetically pleasing, as well as functional and well-built top loading gravity design and convenient magnetic clamp.

The bottom of the unit has an increased weight, found beneath the casing drawers. This dramatically reduces unwanted vibrations/resonance from the playing surface, while the advanced suspension system of the CD Box RS enables the CD being spun to retain its position for optimal playback. 

You can also connect the CD Box RS to external sources either by S/PDIF coax, TOSLink Optical, or AES/EBU. The CD Box RS can be matched perfectly with the DAC Box RS or Pre Box RS Digital with the innovative RJ45 I2S/Master Clock connection option.

An included IR remote control makes the CD Box RS easy to control. 

Who is Project?

Project started in the hifi business designing and manufacturing affordable stereo turntables in the early 1990's, beginning with the entry-level Debut model. It was a great success, like all other turntables on the market at that time were at least  £100 more expensive, without offering a performance benefit. Project has gone on to extend the range of turntables they offer at all popular price points and performance levels, through midrange to high-end models.
