Project VT-E Vertical Turntable
Project's entry-level series consists of a variety of high quality, well-built turntables that have been truly optimised to bring your favourite vinyl records to life. The level of build quality and accuracy of sound reproduction that these turntable models are capable of is truly astonishing. Many lesser brands strive to achieve this level of performance in their intermediate/higher-end models, let alone their entry-level series.
The VTE is the company's first-ever vertical turntable release. This innovative design is a prime example of ProJect's commitment to pushing the boundaries and highlights their dedication to stand-out against the crowd, in terms of both quality of sound and meticulous design. The VTE can be used on a tabletop using the supplied feet, or it can be mounted to a wall for an unobtrusive, space-saving performance.
Technologically, the VTE features much of the design principles and engineering philosophies that can be found on the popular entry-level Elemental model. A pre-set tonearm and cartridge allow for a quick set-up process without hassle - all you have to do is place the belt and platter, plugin and play.
The plinth is built from an acoustically neutral medium-density fibreboard and when combined with the supplied record clamp, offers a secure and stable playback without unwanted resonance or slipping. The VT-E's motor is the same as that of other award-winning ProJect models, boasting a built-in AC generator to ensure reliable speed stability with a truly minimum level of unwanted noise. The VT-E also comes supplied with a quality Connect-IT phono interconnect for reliable use with an external phono stage.
The VT-E is available in a matt black, red or white finish depending on preference and comes supplied with all the necessary accessories needed to get you going.
A left-handed version of the VT-E is available to special order in the United Kingdom. Get in touch for more information.
Who is Project?
Project started in the hifi business designing and manufacturing affordable stereo turntables in the early 1990s, beginning with the entry-level Debut model. It was a great success, like all other turntables on the market at that time were at least £100 more expensive, without offering a performance benefit. Project has gone on to extend the range of turntables they offer at all popular price points and performance levels, through midrange to high-end models.
