Project Xperience V Pack

A great value combination for superb vinyl replay, the Project Xperience V Pack combines the Project Xperience belt driven acrylic turntable with a 9CC Evolution tone arm and Ortofon Vivo Blue moving cartridge, giving a saving of over £100 when buying these items seperately.

Speed change from 33 to 45 rpm is achieved by lifting the belt from one pully to the other. The plinth is constructed from low resonance 20mm thick clear acrylic which is handsome and good sounding at the same time.The platter is a sandwich construction of MDF core faced on top with a 5mm layer of vinyl, to provide a perfect interface to the record. A slightly recessed centre part of the platter allows for the LP label, and a sturdy clamp is provided to closely couple the record and platter together.

The low voltage synchronous motor is powered by an external 16V ac plug top power supply and drives the platter via a long square section belt, and the motor is compliantly mounted on rubber mounts to reduce viabration. The coned carbon fibre arm tube and headshell are made as a one piece assembly to increase rigidity. Azimuth adjustment is achieved by releasing a screw near the bearing housing which then permits a small degree of rotation. Four adjustable sorbothane feet give good isolation from viabration and acoustic feedback.

A pair of gold plated RCA audio output sockets on the rear coonect via a supplied lead to your phono amplifier. Ortofon's Vivo Blue moving coil cartridge is a new model with a nude elliptical stylus mounted on an aluminium cantilever. The highly rigid and damped Lexan DMX body material contributes to the Vivo Blue's neutral, revealing sound quality.
