Pure Sirocco 550 mini system

Sirocco 550 provides access to an incredible range of audio sources in a compact, powerful hi-fi system. As well as broadcast radio (digital and FM), a CD player, a dock for your iPod/iPhone and an input for USB flash drives, Sirocco 550 uses Wi-Fi to receive internet content (thousands of radio stations, listen again programmes, podcasts and Pure Sounds) and stream music stored on your computer or network storage device.

Sirocco 550 features Pure Clearsound – a digital end-to-end audio solution using high-quality Class D amplifiers and digital audio shaping technology to provide clear dynamic audio, high volume levels and low power consumption. Together with custom speakers featuring treated 5.25" mid bass drive units, 37mm tweeters and tuned crossovers, Sirocco 550 generates 80W RMS of dynamic hi-fi with incredible detail.

Media Streaming: Audio codecs supported include WMA (Standard V9), AAC, MP3, MP2, Real Audio. Media streaming requires UPnP server or PC/MAC running UPnP server software (supplied upon registration at www.thelounge.com).

CD Player: CD-R and CD-RW playback compatible. Support for 30 track audio CD playlist. Multiple playback modes (repeat, shuffle, etc.). MP3 and WMA playback, including support for ID3 tags.

Speakers: Two cabinets – each with full-range 5.25" mid drivers, and 20mm tweeters.

Audio power output: 40W RMS per channel; 80W RMS total.

Input connectors: Two 3.5mm inputs for auxiliary devices. Stereo Phono connectors for Aux input. iPod/iPhone connector with adapters. Front mounted USB (type A) port for USB memory drives and powered media devices. USB (mini-B type) for software updates (updates also available over Wi-Fi).

Output connectors: 3.5mm stereo headphone socket. 3.5mm stereo line output. Speaker connectors. Video out socket.
