REL are a company specialising in the design and manufacturing of high quality subwoofer units, with a philosophy of adding a new layer of depth to your favourite songs and films while retaining a seamless design aesthetic to match existing decor.
The Habitat 1 is a bold and iconic statement to this philosophy, featuring deep and immersive bass with a slim, on-wall design. The physical footprint of the Habitat 1 is essentially non existent, while its ergonomic design draws from the environment around it to allow for a deep and powerful bass. It also features wireless connectivity, so no trailing cables to worry about either.
An astoundingly vigorous amount of design and ingenuity has gone into the Habitat 1's construction, which features customised bass mini-engines, capable of producing awe-inspiring bass while retaining an ultra-thin profile. Mounting the unit to a wall is done with ease and is compatible with most wall structures including masonry or brick walls, modern sheet rock and stud construction.
Although Habitat1 is intended to be used wirelessly with the REL LongbowTM Wireless Transmitter, the rear panel includes all of the standard connectivity so that users have the option of using Habitat1 wired if desired. An optional floor-mount also means that the subwoofer can be adapted to use on the floor when wall-mounting is not possible.
