The RCD1570 CD player is the perfect match to the RA-1570 integrated amplifier, as each unit can process balanced or unbalanced analogue audio, or indeed digital coaxial output. Every aspect of design has been refined to enable the Rotel RCD-1570 to extract the maximum musical information from CD discs, giving the best possible enjoyment from this uniquely popular format.

The heart of the RCD1570 is the ultra high performance DAC/ digital filter module, based upon the well regarded Wolfson WM8740 24 bit 192kHz delta sigma digital to analogue converter. It's 120dB signal to noise ratio gives a startling realism to music whilst it's very low distortion and low jitter ensure you hear the performance exactly as the recording studio intended. Coupled to the DAC are both balanced and unbalanced output amplifiers, allowing for a superior, noise free XLR connection to be made to your choice of amplifier - alternatively opt for the more common single ended RCA phono output. For a pure digital connection to your amplifier, choose the coaxial digital output.

An oversize, low noise toroidal transformer powers the circuitry, via fast rectification, slit-foil reservoir capacitors and high current voltage regulators, which ensures all circuitry performs at it's highest level of fidelity. The mains cable can be upgraded to an after market IEC type for even greater sonic possibilities.

All circuitry has been designed with superior sound quality in mind, hnce the use of audiophile grade resistors, capacitors and inductors to give maximum purity on the audio signal. I tandem with the electronic design, attention has been paid to minimising vibration in the mechanism, hence the use of a reliable, low noise slot load CD mech.
