Rotel are a renowned and well established name within the hifi community, having built some of the most exemplary components on the market, featuring models in a range of price points.

The RDG-1520 (RDG meaning 'Rotel Digital Gateway'), brings streaming capability to the discerning audiophile system, while also offering support for FM radio and a USB input for directly connecting digital source, like iPods or other USB class 2 devices. These signals are all decoded by the units high performance Wolfson 24-bit/192kHz DAC chipset, before being passed through the RDG-1520's high end analogue signal stage.

The receiver's tuner section features both terrestrial FM radio reception, as well as internet radio and access to premium music services like Pandora and SiriusXM,. This results in a practically limitless number of music options,. You can stream from your PC via WiFi or hard-wired LAN Ethernet connection directly to the unit, while RealAudio, WMA, MP3, AAC, AAC+, AU, WAV and AIFF formats are supported.
