After several years of relentless design and construction, the RSP-1582 is finally here and takes home theatre to an entirely new realm. Rotel engineers have meticulously evaluated every element of the RSP-1582's design, from circuit design to feature ability in order to offer the best possible performance at its price point, smashing competitors and claiming the hearts and ears of listeners everywhere.
The RSP-1582 at pure definition is a preamplifier/processor but is more like the brains of your entire system. Integrated within is six 24-bit/192kHz DAC chipsets, presented as four isolated digital-analogue-converters, independently decoding digital audio for front left, front right, centre and subwoofer channels with shared stereo DACs for the rear channel speakers. This means that the most important channels are sounding their utmost best, resulting in a truly astonishingly immersive surround sound experience.
The RSP-1582 features eight HDMI 4K video inputs, with two HDMI 4K video outputs. It also employs a Silicon Image 2K/4K HDMI transceiver. Its modular HDMI circuit construction means future upgrades can be accommodated easily. Additionally, integrated aptX Bluetooth, a PC/USB input (24-bit/192kHz), CD, Tuner and 4 Auxiliary analogue inputs cater for all of your sources.

Rotel is a Japanese, 50-year-old family business dedicated to designing and manufacturing the finest affordable hifi and home cinema components available on the market. Note that Rotel manufactures core components as well as assembling them into complete products, and so has total control over quality and sound characteristics.
