Sonos Amp 

Sonos Amp is the newest addition to the Sonos family. A number of comparisons might be made to the previous Sonos Connect Amp, however, Amp is a whole new product in its own right. Designed to power whatever speakers you should choose to pair with it, from a discrete in-ceiling speaker, a traditional stand mount/bookshelf speaker, a floor-standing speaker or even an all-weather outdoor speaker for the garden, Amp can run them all.

Featuring Class D amplification outputting 125W per channel compared to the previous Connect Amps 55W per channel Amp is sure to have enough drive whatever your system while offering the clarity and detail you desire.

AirPlay 2 is also a key feature upgrade for Amp allowing you to enjoy audio from any of your apps on an Apple device along with the whole host of streaming services which are already directly supported by the Sonos App (over 100 services currently supported) including Spotify, Tidal, Deezer to name a few. You also have access to thousands of Internet Radio stations from across the globe, as you do with the rest of the Sonos family.

Amp features HDMI with ARC compatibility allowing simple, easy connectivity to your TV to allow for a simple, smart home cinema experience. Connectivity options allow for use of a Single Amp offering 2.0, or two Amp to allow wireless Rears in a 4.0 setup or even wireless rears with a Sonos Beam.

Sonos is notorious for the updates they bring to their system over time, so you can be sure of future updates to keep Amp at its prime.

Amp also offers connectivity for additional devices in your home entertainment, whatever your choice source may be, from turntables to CD players.

The speaker connections on the rear of Sonos Amp are threaded to allow you to insert the speaker cable directly and tighten to clamp in, alternatively, these can be removed revealing a standard diameter fitting for your own banana plug where required.

Sonos App

Your Sonos Device will have to be connected to your Wifi through an easy guided tutorial. The App is very simplistic to use, simply head over your app store and download the Sonos App; once downloaded, at the bottom of the screen, press on 'Rooms' and press your Sonos device. Once selected, press on 'Search' on the bottom of the screen and then you have the freedom to search for any song you desire; internet radio, blogs and podcasts are also readily available for you to listen to as well.

The Bowers and Wilkins CCM 665 In-Ceiling Speaker

The CCM 665 is the entry-level model in-ceiling speaker within Bowers & Wilkins' Ci600 series and has been designed to bring an enhanced and room-filling sound to smaller areas like bathrooms and kitchens. A 150mm (6") driver, constructed from woven glass fibre provides a controlled and impacting bass/midrange, while a single soft dome tweeter allows for an unrelenting and uncompromising level of clarity within the higher frequency spectrum.
