Stands Unique High AV10 racks are available also as cabinets with the option of standard or chunky legs and clear or grey tinted glass shelves, doors and sides. A magnetic catch is used to keep the doors closed, a gentle pull will open the door, the catch is secured to the underside of the top piece of structural glass using a special adhesive pad (similar to that used to secure your interior car mirror to the glass of the windscreen) The grey tinted glass tends to allow the equipment being housed within to visually receed from the room, whilst the clear glass is almost invisible. All the cabinets allow for infra-red remotes to work through them. All glass is safety toughened to the top British Standard 6206A. A great way to add security from inquisitive fingers or just to help cut down on the dust. Tip: a Kiddy Cabinet Kit is available to replace the existing door handles so flush fittings are used making opening the doors difficult. A removable magnetic door knob is supplied which is used to open the doors. All hardwood used on Stands Unique supports is farmed from sustainable sources and is manufactured in the UK. Please note that the cabinet doors do not allow any overhang, so make sure that you remember to take any knobs into account when you measure your equipment to see if it will fit.
