The Thorens TD170 turntable demonstrates that playing records is simple, fun and enjoyable. Designed for simplistic operation, uses an automatic function that not only sets the needle on the record but returns it to its resting place at the end, shutting off the drive motor awaiting your next selection. A Thorens precision belt drive system and an electronically controlled DC motor system provide stable speed control including 33, 45 and 78 RPM speeds. A proprietary low noise bearing system provides exceptional sonic performance and long life, a hallmark of Thorens turntables. An Ortofon OMB-10 phono cartridge is supplied with the turntable for playing 33/45 RPM records. A 78 RPM stylus is optional.
