The Unico CDE from Unison Research is the company's flagship CD player, and boasts a compelling and immersive sound response due to the meticulous level of thought, attention, and expertise that Unison Research have honed and developed over the years.
A large investment has been made into testing and assessing new componentry and component configurations, in order to offer the best possible performance. The Unico CDE is based heavily from the success of the Unico CD, seeing a number of improvements and enhancements to set the CDE apart from others on the market. Seated within the unit is a Crystal CS4392 DAC, capable of decoding and relaying digital information to an astonish standard.
As with most Unison research models, the Unico CDE features a warm, almost vinyl-like sound, thanks to the ECC82 valve that can be found within the phono stage.
