Van Den Hul The Magnum Hybrid Speaker Cable
For sale is our 3 Meter Pair of Ex-Display Van Den Hul The Magnum Hybrid Speaker Cable fitted with Van Den Hul Berri Bus Connectors on both ends. The cable is in good condition, with only one small blemish to the outer sheath near one of the banana plugs (See photos).
The cable is in full working order and sold for £510 when new (6m x £45p/m = £270, plus 8x Berri Bus Plugs at £30 each).
8x Spade connects also included, simply unscrew banana plug tips & replace with spade tips.
This dark-red coloured mat finished twin-lead speaker cable is designed to produce the best transfer quality at an affordable price.
Each lead consists of 483 x 0.15 mm. high purity Matched Crystal (MC) OFC strands with a dense and very pure silver coating.
The resistance per lead is just: 0.21 Ohm/100 meter.
The metal cross-section area for each conductor is: 8.54 mm², equalling AWG 8.
The capacitance between the 2 leads is a nice and low 27 pF/meter.
Covering the 2 conductors you will find an extra Linear Structured Carbon ® saturated layer.
This layer dramatically improves the sonic qualities of The MAGNUM HYBRID.
The cable jacket is made of our HULLIFLEX ® 5, a very flexible and mechanically superb insulation material.
The plus and minus leads are different in jacket shape with gold coloured printing in the flat middle section. Both properties are easy polarity finders.
Type printing at 25 cm. (10") distance makes cutting of specified lengths very easy.
The BERRI BUS is Van Den Huls' improved termination system for loudspeaker cables. It has new looks and offers a much more effective assembly of its gold plated parts.
24-carat gold plated parts (inner bus and terminals) to maintain the contact quality over long periods of intensive use and to keep oxidation away.
The banana and the angled spade (fork) screw-in terminals are WBT binding post fitting. Both offer excellent mating properties and minimal contact resistance.
Angled spade terminal blade with 2.0 mm thickness, 15 mm external width and fits studs from Ø 5.0 mm to Ø 9.0 mm.
