VPI JMW- 9T Tonearm The VPI JMW 9 tonearm is the same giant beating tonearm included with VPI's Scout turntable and has been constructed from the finest materials available with precision machining for exacting tolerances. All parameters of cartridge setup are adjustable including: - VTA/SRA – Set with a large knurled ring - Azimuth – Set with counterweight - Overhang – Supplied gauge - VTF – Set with counterweight - Horizontal tracking angle – Supplied gauge For those that love to play with cartridges or to use a mono cartridge for perfect playback of those classic mono recordings the JMW-9 lets you purchase additional armtubes. The cartridge is mounted to the armtube and completely set up. The armtube can be exchanged in 30 seconds and there is no work to be done, just listening. The JMW-9 is virtually friction free due to its precision unipivot design. You no longer have to worry about bearing friction, bearing accuracy, bearing wobble, etc, it simply doesn’t exist.
