The NX-B55 is unlike conventional speaker systems in a number of ways. It's been fine tuned to deliver the best possible performance from every type of digital device. Its uniquely designed cabinet shape means internal sound loss is reduced to a minimum, which in turn means the best possible frequency response. There's also a bass port at the front of the speakers which push powerful bass sounds directly out of the unit and in to the room, providing clear and detailed sound fields. The additional loudness control volume, that perfectly adjusts bass output to match the volume output, completes this small-in-stature, big-in-sound speaker system.

Operation of the speakers is extremely simple, and they don't require 'on' or 'off' attention. An automatic standby function puts the unit into standby mode once a duration of inactivity has occurred, then they simply switch back on when a sound signal is being detected. What's more is that with Auto Mix you can play the two sound sources connected simultaneously, removing the need to switch inputs.
