Yamaha RX-A820 offers premium quality audio and video performance combines with new technologies like 4K Pass-Through and 4K upscaling, unrivaled surround sound with Dialogue Lift and Dialouge Level Adjustment for perfectly clear dialogue and vocals, AirPlay support, 8 in/2 out HDMI, YPAO Reflected Sound Control (R.S.C.) and ECO mode.
The A.R.T. (Anti-Resonance Technology) Wedge is a fifth foot in the center of the unit. It dampens vibrations from the power transformer, power transistors and heat sinks, as well as vibrations that might be caused by the sound from the speakers.
The RXA820’s HDMI input/output supports 4K video image pass-through. It also can perform 4K upscaling to boost a lower resolution image to super high-def resolution. This ensures compatibility with the latest super high resolution video formats.
AirPlay allows music streaming from iPad, iPhone, iPod touch, Mac, PC. The AV Controller app lets you easily operate various functions from an iPod touch, iPhone, iPad or Android device.
