4K Ultra HD Pass-through with HDCP 2.2
The RX-V379 supports the most up-to-date HDMI standards, and as such, as capable of providing a pass-through for $K video at 60frames per second. This allows you to enjoy high definition video without degrading the signal as it passes through the box. Alongside this, the unit features HDCP 2.2 HDMI connections, making it fully complient with the latest copyright protection which of course is a standard for 4K video transmission. n, a standard for 4K video transmission.
YPAO™ Sound Optimization for Automatic Speaker Set Up
Setting up your loudspeaker parameters is a doddle with the YPAO Sound Optomisation feature that the Yamaha RX-V379 offers. The technology will simply anylise the acoustics of the listening room and adjust the variables in order to offer the optimal sound for that environment. This takes just a few moments and allows for an easily superior liostening experience. An even better sound can then be achieved by delicately fine-tuning the parameters from the automatic set-up, if preferred.
HD Audio with CINEMA DSP
Additionally, Yamaha's CINEMA DSP technology allows you to experience an astonishingly immersive sound, as it is altered to match the acoustics of world renowned music venus.
HDMI with 3D and Audio Return Channel
The RX-V379 supports 3D video signals. Additionally, the Audio Return Channel function enables audio to be sent and received via the same HDMI cable, so you can hear the sound from the TV via a single HDMI cable.
