These B&W MM-1 monitors are beautifully designed, minimalist computer speakers featuring powerful built in amplification capable of filling your room with high quality stereo sound. This 2.0 speaker set does not need a subwoofer to achieve deep powerful bass, which saves clutter and unsightly wiring around your computer desk. Full bodied, crisp and clear sound quality is on offer - the speakers simply connect to your computer via USB cable. These speakers bring true hi-fi quality sound to your desktop, giving your computer the audio enhancement it deserves. These speakers have two drivers, one dedicated to bass and mid-range frequencies and another for the treble, so they deliver accurate sound, just like full-sized speakers. The right speaker contains the stereo digital amplifier, the left speaker is passive and connects to the base of the right speaker with supplied cabling. Cable management is built into the MM-1's so that unslightly wires are a thing of the past.
