Bowers & Wilkins have recently unveiled the release of their newly revised CM series of loudspeakers, now dubbed the 'CM S2'. Bowers & Wilkins have also taken a look at some of the more popular headphone sets, developing and upgrading the P5 and C5 models. 

For the P5, the most impacting upgrade is the inclusion of a brand-new driver unit, similar to the one found in the company's flagship and multi-award winning P7 model. This new edition retains the original P5's sleek and superlative style, complete with high-quality sheep's leather ear-pads and sophisticated aluminium metal trims.;

In terms of sound response, the new driver design allows the headphone to provide a phenomenally open and spacious setting with pin-point imaging across all frequencies. Bass is powerful and liquid, yet natural and controlled, while the more subtle, higher frequencies are tempered delicately with the midrange to provide a realistic and effortlessly impressive performance.

Even the cable has seen improvement, now thicker and more durable. But both ear-pads and cables can easily be interchangeable should accidental damage occur, as both are detachable and and easy to replace.
