Chord Anthem Digital Tuned ARAY Coax Cable

The Chord Company are renowned for developing some of the most beautifully constrcuted interconnects and loudspeaker cables on the market today, all from their factory in Salisbury, UK. The Chord Anthem Digitaal Tuned ARAY coaxial cable is no exception to this reputation, and if anything, exists as a prime example of the level of meticulous detail that Chord use when designing and building their products.

The cable itself is comprised of solid core, silver-plated signal conductors, while the PTFE insulation and shielding is constructed from a combination of foil and high density braid. This meansd that the signal being transferred through the cable is left as intact as possible, with potentital interference and signal degredation left to an absolute minimum, across an extremely wide frequency range. This intellectual shielding concept is then protected further with a PTFE outer jacket, put together by Chord engineers in Salisbury to an unbeatable standard.

Chord's custom VEE 3 RCA plugs are used at both ends, built top the cable using the company's new design method. This method uses an ABS outer shell, and a unique silver-plating process to the contact areas, further improving the quality of the signal transfer across a wide frequency range. The signal return surround offers a stable, high pressure contact with all forms of RCA socket and the central pin is also unsulated with PTFE.
