A 2.5 way design of suprising capability, the Epos Epic 5 is able to fill the largest of rooms with high quailty music.

Featuring many innovative features which enhance sound quality, these speakers are solidly constructed from internally braced 18mm thick MDF, and finished in a high quality vinyl wood veneer of either cherry or black ash. A removable audiophile baffle gives best sound quaility, however this can be removed if desired and replaced with a fabric grille for better protection of the drive units.

A 25mm soft dome tweeter is detailed and fast in response, whilst the twin 179mm polypropylene bass midrange drivers are reflex loaded leading to deeper, more extended bass and clear, transparent midrange. A phase plug is located at the centre of the bass/ midrange driver.

Simple second order crossover filters are constructed from metal oxide resistors and polypropylene capacitors for the most transparent sound quality possible. Epos Epic 2 speakers can be driven from amplifiers in the power output range of 20W to 200W.

Gold plated bi-wired terminals on the rear allow speakers to connect using either two or four core speaker cable.

Sounding best away from side or rear walls, these speakers will reward the listener with glorious, rich sound which is super detailed but also smooth and easy on the ear.
