Having been trading for almost four decades, Michell is one of the oldest and longest-standing quality turntable manufacturers still around today. The first version of their superlative Gyrodec was built over 25 years ago, but can still be upgraded and serviced to today's version. 

The Orbe is Michell Engineering's flagship turntable model and matches contemporary, elegant visual design with exemplary sound quality. Built upon the concept of the company's long-standing GyroDec, the Orbe offers an added layer of isolation, improved structural damping and a more adept motor drive system. The chassis design comprises of a suspended, pendulum sub-chassis that's been dampened. 

The platter is built from acrylic/vinyl, 60mm in thickness while the screw-down record clamping system ensures that your vinyl record is wobble free. The clamp is compatible with heavy-weight 180g audiophile vinyl pressings.
