Rega are a specialist hifi manufacturer based in Essex, UK and are renowned for developing and constructing some of the most highly regarded turntables (as well as cartridges and tonearms), electronics and loudspeakers available on the hifi market today. Rega were founded in 1973, and have honed their craft over many years of being a leading brand in every category they put a product to.

While Rega are renowned for building some of the best turntable models on the market, the company have also developed an extensive and highly acclaimed reputation in the design and engineering of quality hifi separates. Rega's range of hifi amplifiers and CD players are designed and engineered around their different turntable, phonostage and loudspeaker models to form a complete family, staying true to the Rega sound signature and quality of build. Rega components will work with systems and separates from other bands, but perform at their best when accompanied with other Rega products.

The Brio-R from Rega is a long-established quality integrated amplifier, taking half the space of a traditional hifi separates amp and incorporating true audiophile technology to result in a deserving sound. Rega have revisited the Brio to develop and launch its 2017 equivalent, featuring a range of upgrades to build upon the R model's prestigious and well-earned reputation.

A new housing construction improves upon the Brio's circuitry and internal components. Its internals now sit within a two-part case, built from an entirely aluminium design, upgrading the heat-sink capabilities of the machine as well as improving the already robust build quality and stellar reliability. The Brio sees the addition of an intelligently placed headphone socket, built to reduce the level of potential interference between this headphone stage and main audio circuit with a superlative Moving Magnet phonostage built-in to the unit in a similar fashion.

The Dreamcatcher is Totem's smallest and most compact loudspeaker and is extremely deceptive. It's hard to imagine that such a small-statured speaker is able to produce such a large and impressive sound, more detailed sound than many of its much larger competitors. It has been appropriately named 'Dreamcatcher', as it captures an exceptionally unreal reproduction of sound and enables the listener to experience this beautiful clarity in reality. 

The Dreamcatcher makes use of light and stiff-lock miltered jointing, tempered with a true monocoque chassis to assure the listener of the speaker's determination to continue producing an excellent sound, regardless of brusque dynamics, temperature, or humidity alterations/changes. You can use the Dreamcatcher in both stereo listening and in home cinema systems.

The Dreamcatchers are veneered both on the inside and the outside of the speaker, and come in a variety of high-quality premium veneers. There are five different available finishes; Cherry, Mahogany, Maple, Black Ash and a fifth White Satin Lacquer. Standardised grills are included with the speakers, along with twin pairs of solid gold-played binding posts, while a wall-bracket is optional.
