Rotel A10 Integrated Amplifier

Rotel are a high quality and well-established manufacturer of hifi and home audio components.

The A10 is one of Rotel's entry level hifi amplifiers, developed with the budding music enthusiast in mind. With a capable and efficient 40-watts per channel and a purely analogue construction, the A10 is able to drive smaller to medium level loudspeakers effortlessly and to a high standard. The A10 is built to do one job and one job effectively and takes away the unnecessary features that would result in an increase in price. This amplifier is built for sound quality alone.

A wide range of analogue inputs can be found on the rear of the unit, including a Moving Magnet phonostage for direct connection to a turntable.

Rotel's CD14 is a quality compact disc player, designed and engineered to offer a superlative performance from your CD collection. Featuring a specially crafted power supply, an isolated, sustainable voltage and current is given to both the digital and analogue circuits within the robust and luxurious chassis. Aesthetically and intuitively, the CD14 offers the same level of craftsmanship and easy operation as the other hifi separates in the 14 series.

Bowers & Wilkins 686 S2 Bookshelf speaker

The 686 S2 builds upon the high standards of versatility and sound quality found within its predecessor, while also improving upon the aesthetic nature of the speaker itself. The 686 S2 is the ideal bookshelf or wall-mount speaker solution for any music enthusiast looking to achieve the best results from their music source. The speaker utilises a 5 inch bass/midrange driving unit, which has been improved with the integration of a new 25mm voice coil. This allows the speaker to act much more sensitive in order to deliver the most precise and detailed sound response.

The bass performance of the 686 S2 has been improved also. Now featuring a forward-firing flow-port, complete with B&W specific 'dimpled' design, the 686 S2 is able to deliver an exceptionally liquid bass response while drastically reducing potential unwanted resonance and external vibration. The use of a front-firing port means that the speaker can be placed either close to, or physically on to a wall without effecting the bass response of the unit. The back of the 686 features an already integrated bracket to make wall-mounting the speaker an easy task.

The 686 has been reduced in size to exist in a much slimmer and more compact cabinet. As with all 600 S2 series speakers, the 686 utilises a specialised decoupled, double dome aluminium tweeter to offer a dramatically superior high-frequency response.
