SpeakerCraft AIM Wide Five

SpeakerCraft are an American loudspeaker manufacturer, specialising in discrete in-wall/in-ceiling and outdoor loudspeaker solutions. With a vast catalogue of models to choose from, SpeakerCraft have designed a multitude of speakers to fit any budget and fulfil any audio purpose, whether this be as part of an invisible home theatre set-up, or hidden speakers for the garden. SpeakerCraft retain a common design philosophy throughout the construction process of any of their speakers, and that is to offer only the best possible solution in terms of both build integrity and sound quality at every price point.

The AIM Wide was originally designed to aid in forming a diffused rear sound field in home cinema applications, but since its initial conception, has become a go-to solution for those who wish to achieve a high performing sound in a multi-room installation. 

Physically, the Aim Wide has a similar footprint and woofer design to the company's high quality AIM8 in ceiling speaker. However, the rest of the Aim Wide's design is vastly different to anything on the market today. A specialised dual mid-tweeter module has been mounted directly over the main woofer, with two 2 inch midrange drivers  and two 3/4 inch dome tweeters placed at a 70 degree axes from each-other. This results in a tediously wide dispersion, forming an accurate and extensive stereo field, while the high quality construction principles ensure only the highest fidelity.
