Cassette decks are becoming rare these days, but both TEAC and Pioneer offer good value decks featuring twin transports and Dolby B and C noise reduction. Cassette decks are still very useful hi-fi separates if you have a large collection of pre-recorded tapes, or you have made your own mix-tapes over the years for use in the car.
For a cheap and easy way to make personal recordings, a cassette deck is a useful addition to any hi-fi system.
