The Yamaha YAS-101 surround sound bar is designed to be either wall mounted below a TV or positioned in front of your TV to give you impressive surround sound from movies and other programmes without the clutter and cables offered by other inferior solutions. Its gloss black finish will compliment the look of any TV and enhance the standard TV sound quality immensely. Power output is 120W, enough for any normal living room.

A bass reflex loaded, dual driver subwoofer provides deep bass for incredible sound effects and the two dialogue speakers are capable of 7.1 surround sound thanks to Yamaha's Air Surround Extreme advanced digital signal processing.

Yamaha 'clearvoice' technology ensures movie dialogue is crystal clear and articulate - one of the most important aspects of a great movie experience.

Did you ever wonder why advertisements between programmes were louder than the programme? Well, Yamaha have dealt with this anomaly by employing 'Univolume' technology which levels out the volume so that you don't hear a sudden, unwanted increase in level. Nice.

Of course the popular surround sound modes of Dolby Digital and DTS are decoded by the YAS101, and a convenient lip-sync feature means you can adjust picture movement to perfectly match sound.
