The Eroica from cartridge-experts, Goldring, features the same level of meticulous attention to detail and exemplary construction as any other cartridge model in their catalogue. the Eroica benefits from a number of innovative features, including an advanced pole shoe design which uses a powerful rare earth Neodymium magnet to drastically reduce the length of the magnetic path, which in turn reduces the amount of iron in the cartridge - allowing the unit to weigh at just 5.5 grams.

It's also astonishingly rigid; its Pocan body clamped securely to the headshell of the turntable guarantees that lost energy is kept at an absolute minimum. The stylus technology utilised by the Eroica is a high-quality Gyger-2-line-contact stylus, which is available in one of two forms; the high output Eroica H and the low output Eroica LX.
