Featuring H-DAM SA2 output amplifiers, low jitter clock circuitry and audiophile quality components throughout, the Marantz CD6004 delivers a starlingly good performance at it's price point. The mechanical integrity of the CD6004 has been a key design focus area for Marantz engineers - a sturdy steel bottom plated has been added to the chassis, which in combination with the centrally mounted CD mechanism has virtually elimenated unwanted viabration.

On the electronics front, a premium DAC chip CS4398 has been designed in, together with audiophile quality passive components and gold plated RCA phono connectors. A short signal path printed circuit board assists the transparency of the audio signal, whilst a low jitter clock circuit allows the precision digital to analogue convertor circuitry to performat it's musical best.

A front panel iPod compatible USB socket allows you to connect your iPod digitally to the CD6004 internal DAC, benefitting the sound quality of tunes stored on your iPod.
