For vinyl enthusiasts seeking the ultimate listening experience from their LP collection, the Naim Superline phono stage opens up the window on your records like no other phono stage - every aspect of its design has been optimized for maximum signal retrieval and reduction of noise, hum and interference.

Discrete component circuitry is used throughout, for the lowest possible noise and to control all of the parameters most critical to extracting all of the musical information from the record's groove. Together with the most tightly controlled regulated power supply in any product on the market, the aluminium casework further protects the micro-volt input signal levels from contamination or disruption, so that the full musical message is transported through to the output sockets.

The printed circuit board which forms the phono circuitry sits on a suspended series of stand-offs which are sprung from the aluminium chassis of the enclosure, ensuring that any environmental disturbances do not corrupt the minute audio signals being processed and amplified by the Superline. Power supply smoothing, regulation and low noise are taken to the extreme, with twenty-five individual voltage regulators to ensure each class A amplification stage has the purest, noiseless voltage and current supplies possible. Of course, the main transformer to power the Stageline is external, either provided by a compatible Naim pre-amplifier or from a dedicated 24V DC Naim power supply - FlatCap, HiCap or SuperCap are all compatible.

Moving cartridge's tonal response can be subtly modified by applying resistive and capacitive loading via externally plugged DIN plugs fitted with the required values of R and C to give the desired treble response - this can be tailored specifically for your cartridge.

Two versions of the Superline are available, a high gain standard version for low output moving coil cartridges, and a lower gain version (model E) for high output moving coil cartridges
