The A39 from arcam sits gloriously as the pinnacle of Arcam's audio engineering and the sonic superiority that the company are capable of integrating within all of their products. Featuring Class G amplification, a toroidal based power supply, paralleled transistor output stages, and a well-built ,acoustically damped chassis means that the A39 is capable of reproducing even the most demanding of music with outstanding degree of authority and detail. The A 39 is capable of filling speakers with a weighty 120 watts per channel into 8 ohms (and 240 watts in to 4 ohms). The A39 will deliver 20 watts in pure class A mode, with its vast power reserves from Arcam's latest generation of class G topology standing by.

Arcam are a renowned name within the hifi industry, having designed and constructed some of the most highly regarded amplifiers, CD players, and receivers in the history of British-based hifi. Their latest CD release, the CDS27 is no exception to the high-standard of product design and exemplary level of sonic quality, one would expect from any product with Arcam's badge attributed to it.
The CDS27 takes the concept of a CD player and reinvents the single box into a multi-purpose, high quality digital media hub - offering support for standard CDs, SACDs and various networking options are also features within the CDS27. Music from every compatible source is delivered and brought to life with a superlative performance to the very highest audio quality standards available today.
In order to retain a reference level of audio superiority, the CDS27 features the class-leading TI/Burr Brown PCM1794 DAC chipset, combined with linear phase Bessel output filter and a high precision re-clocking system. This means that audio signals processed from CDs/SACDs is replayed exactly as the artist and producer intended you to hear it. Even the power supply has been meticulously designed for outright performance. Discreet sub-regulated power supplies are integrated within the unit, on the drive, audio and DAC boards. This means that the overall performance of each individual element is enhanced, as each section is working completely independently and without unwanted interference.
Networking compatibility allows for UPnP and CIFS functionality, meaning that integrated the CDS27 with your home network is done without hassle, and the CDS27 can access stored content in a number of locations with ease.
