The time has to come to rotate our display Bowers & Wilkins CM9 speakers in gloss black. They come with all accessories, original boxes and full 5 year warranty. They are in near-mint condition (although may have a few finger prints after being boxed)
At the top of the CM range, is the formidable 3 way B&W CM9 model. This tower speaker will fill the largest rooms with limpid, clear music of amazing naturalness and clarity. The driver lineup for this model consists of two dedicated 165mm paper and Kevlar composition bass drivers for effortless, taught, deep bass. The FST midrange driver of woven Kevlar has a uniquely transparent midrange which greatly aids the enjoyment of voice, massed strings, brass and keyboards. Finally, the Nautilus tube loaded aluminum dome tweeter extends the frequency range up to 50kHz for super smooth cymbal sounds. The sheer quality of the drive units has allowed the designers to design simple, slow roll off crossover networks which give a much more coherent and stable performance than would otherwise be the case. Amplifier load is also eased with the simple crossover design – although a large speaker, it can generate realistic volumes with 30W amplifiers. From an aesthetic viewpoint, the CM9 is simply drop dead gorgeous; which ever finish you choose (gloss black, rosenut or wenge). One innovative feature is the magnetically held grilles, which means there are no unsightly peg holes in the front baffle. The look is completed with aluminum driver trim rings for each drive unit. Providing you have a room of a minimum of 20ft x 15ft, the CM9 will make you feel you have your favorite performer right there in your living room night after night.
