The Bowers & Wilkins HTM61 S2 is the larger of the two centre speakers in the 600 S2 Series and is tailor-made to partner either of the two floorstanding main speakers (the 683 S2 or 684 S2) in a commanding home theatre system. B&W HTM61 S2 is an impressive piece of equipment in itself: a full, three-way speaker comprising two aluminium 165mm diameter bass/midrange drivers, a 150mm diameter Kevlar midrange with FST cone surround technology, and a double dome decoupled tweeter. It doesn't have to be laid horizontal beneath the screen, as is the custom with centre speakers. If space is lacking, it is possible to stand it upright. Either way, the B&W HTM61 S2 is capable of stunning dialogue quality in a home cinema system.

Twin ported at the rear with flow port technology, the symmetrical design aids dispersion of high frequencies, giving terrific voice clarity, with impressive punchy, precise midrange and bass.
