A whole raft of changes has been wrought on the latest Creek Evolution 2 Integrated amplifier in the quest for every higher fidelity and functionality. The power supply is truly massive for a product of this cost - with 80W into 8 ohms output, the Creek Evolution 2 Integrated amplifier can almost double this to 140W into 4 ohms. With high quality Burr Brown OPA2134 opamps in the pre-amp stage of Creek Evolution 2 Integrated amplifier, noise and distortion are kept incredibly low. Gold contact relays switch in/out the inputs via the shortest signal paths possible, leading to improved sound quality. A Darlington configuration bipolar transistor output stage running in class AB gives lowest possible distortion with fast transient response and stability into inductive loads. The Creek Evolution 2 Integrated amplifier will form the basis of a fantastic stereo music system and even integrate into a home cinema setup with the AV input function, so why not take a listen?
