KEF's Ci200CL in-wall/in-ceiling loudspeaker exists in the form of a unique and stylish rectangular shape, holding within it a plethora of exceptional features and an impressive level of sonic capability. The speaker itself utilises a large 8" drive cone, with an asymmetrical tweeter island located within the centre of the unit to offer a superior off-axis response, allowing the stereo image a much wider and more detailed stage to work upon. With an extremely shallow mounting depth of only 3.78", the Ci200CL is simple to install into any kind of ceiling. The 'Ultra Thin Bezel' (UTB) technology KEF has used within the construction of this speaker allows the speaker unit to blend seamlessly with the ceiling, forming an exceptionally discrete and non-obtrusive profile. The grills are magnetic, so can easily be removed depending on preference. These grills can also be painted.

Who is KEF?

KEF is a highly renowned, multi-award winning loudspeaker manufacturer whose high-quality products can be found all over the world. KEF began in Maidstone Kent in 1961 by an electrical engineer, Raymond Cooke. KEF is named after Kent Engineering & Foundry, which occupied the KEF site previously. Raymond Cooke was created OBE by Queen Elizabeth II in 1979. KEF has produced products for the BBC, and have a vast range of products at many different price points.
