KEF is a highly renowned, multi-award winning loudspeaker manufacturer whose high-quality products can be found all over the world. KEF began in Maidstone Kent in 1961 by an electrical engineer, Raymond Cooke. KEF is named after Kent Engineering & Foundry, which occupied the KEF site previously. Raymond Cooke was created OBE by Queen Elizabeth II in 1979. KEF has produced products for the BBC, and have a vast range of products at many different price points.
When designing and engineering their range of in ceiling and in-wall loudspeakers, KEF retained the philosophy of 'hiding your speakers, not your sound' in order to offer the home audio enthusiast the best possible sound achievable within a discrete and almost invisible aesthetic. The Ci series is able to deliver a phenomenally accurate response, complete with the three-dimension stereo sound imaging you'd expect from high-quality conventional loudspeakers.
The Ci200QS is an ideal solution for those seeking KEF's superior level of sound performance and integrity, but do not have the physical space or existing decor to accommodate large traditional speaker cabinets. The Ci200QS KEF's intelligent Uni-Q driver array design, meaning that this signature stereo imaging can be experienced anywhere in the room complete with every detail.
The Ci200QS is simple to install and once the cable has been run through and the hole is cut, integrated the speaker to the ceiling/wall takes less than two minutes.
